Dr. Ki Hyeong Lee, MD

Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Lee is a board‑certified neurologist and epileptologist with extensive experience in adult and pediatric epilepsy, EEG interpretation, and advanced seizure management. His background includes clinical research and academic leadership focused on improving neurological outcomes.

Dr. Joo Hee Seo, MD

Director of Pediatric Epilepsy and Ketogenic Diet Program

Dr. Seo is a peidatric epileptologist with deep expertise in pediatric epilepsy and general neurological disorders including developmental delay and headache. Her precise communication and patient‑centered approach make her a trusted partner for referring physicians.

Together, they bring a combined decades of experience in hospital-based and outpatient neurology, offering advanced diagnostics in a community-focused practice environment.

How to Refer a Patient

We make the referral process simple and efficient so your patients can be seen quickly and without administrative delays. Referrals may be submitted via:

Our referral coordinator confirms receipt within 24 hours and contacts the patient directly to schedule the earliest available appointment. Urgent cases — including new‑onset seizures, abnormal EEG findings, and post‑status follow‑ups — are prioritized for expedited evaluation.

Rapid Referral Form

Our Rapid Referral Form streamlines patient handoffs by collecting all essential information at once. Required fields include:

  • Referring provider and practice information
  • Patient demographics
  • Insurance and authorization details
  • Reason for referral
  • Relevant clinical history
  • Prior imaging or EEG results
  • Urgency level (routine or urgent)

Completed forms may be uploaded securely or faxed to our office. We keep your team informed throughout the scheduling and evaluation process.

Diagnostics Available

We offer a full suite of neurological diagnostic services to support accurate evaluation and treatment planning:

Electroencephalography (EEG)

  • Standard EEG — in‑office evaluation of electrical brain activity
  • Ambulatory EEG (24–72 hours) — extended monitoring in the patient’s home environment
  • Long term video EEG monitoring

Neuroimaging Coordination

We partner with advanced imaging centers for MRI and CT scans, ensuring high‑quality studies and fast turnaround.

Presurgical Evaluation for drug-resistant epilepsy

We provide neuromodulation (VNS, RNS, and DBS) as well as conventional surgical treatment evaluation in collaboration with CHOA and Emory Health.

 

Additional Diagnostic Services:

  • Sleep study coordination
  • Neuropathy and nerve conduction testing
  • Medication level and metabolic screening

All reports are concise, clinically relevant, and designed to support your ongoing management.

Reports and Turnaround Times

We understand the importance of timely communication. Our typical turnaround times are:

  • Routine EEG: 48–72 hours
  • Ambulatory EEG: 3–5 business days
  • Consultation notes: within 48 hours of the visit
  • Urgent findings: communicated immediately by phone or secure message

Reports are delivered via secure fax or electronic transmission. For practices using Athena, results can be shared directly through the portal.

Collaborative Follow-Up

Our care model emphasizes partnership and continuity. We:

  • Keep referring providers updated on diagnostic results and treatment plans
  • Encourage shared decision‑making for complex cases
  • Offer co‑management for chronic neurological conditions
  • Provide easy access for follow‑up discussions via phone or secure messaging

Once evaluation or treatment is complete, patients are returned to your care with a detailed summary and recommendations.
